Huntley Red Raiders Youth Football

Huntley Youth Football currently accepts registrations for new players residing within Huntley High School boundaries and neighboring communities that do not have a high school feeder program playing in TCYFL, as well as all returning tackle players.

Registration fees for the 2024 season are as follows.  Ages are as of 9/1/2024.  Registration closes 5/31.

Flyweight (5 & 6 yrs old):

• Early registration $250 through 3/31 
• $300 from 4/1 through 5/31

All other divisions (7 -14 yrs max, cannot be in high school):

• Early registration $450 through 3/31
• $500 from 4/1 through 5/31

$50 sibling discount for each additional family member when registered in the same session (contact Registrar if registering more than 3)

Each player will also be required to sell a minimum of 10 Charity Mania football  cards at $20 each ($200 total) as a fundraiser.

Pay in full at time of registration or select a payment plan with a portion of fees due at time of registration with balance due spread out across payments every 30 days per payment plan.

A $400 deposit check will be required at equipment pickup, which will be held by HYF for the duration of the season and returned to you at equipment return after the season.  The check will not be cashed unless equipment is not returned.

Registration fee includes:

• game jersey
• game pants
• practice jersey
• use of helmet and shoulder pads for the season

 Things you will need to provide:

• practice pants 
• football cleats
• mouthguard
• chinstrap for the helmet
• athletic cup

Important Dates (Tentative):

• May (TBD) - uniform/equipment fitting
• 5/31 - registration closes
• July (TBD) - equipment pickup
• Combine practices start mid-July (exact date TBD), Mon-Thu 6 pm - 8 pm
• Team practices once school starts 3 days per week (2 days for Flyweights), days/times determined by each coach 
• Opening weekend late August (date TBD)
• 9 week season going into mid-late October, with 3 weeks of playoffs following, ending early to mid-November for teams that make it all the way to the championship game.

To complete registration you will need to have ready:

• Medical information and insurance information (if any) for your child
• Copy of a birth certificate you can upload if this is your first year playing tackle football for Huntley
• Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account information
